Jing Yu

Hello everyone, I’m Jing, a founding partner of AMGA Property Management.

My interest in property management began years ago when I started purchasing and managing investment properties. My diverse work experience and educational background have equipped me to excel in rental property management. With my engineering background and hands-on experience in various trades, I have a deep understanding of property maintenance and repairs. I assess tenant repair requests to determine the issue, the required solution, and its difficulty. I’m dedicated to ensuring every expense on a rental property is meaningful and worthwhile.

My background in finance allows me to provide better risk and financial management for rental properties. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Finance, and am a Chartered Financial Analyst. My career has spanned different fields, including database management, financial modeling, and risk management. Additionally, during university and graduate school, I participated in internships and research projects in areas such as optimizing wireless antenna placement in high-rise buildings and developing neural networks for high-frequency forex trading strategies. I’ve also gained skills in metalworking, electrical work, welding, and electronic component design.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exploring different cuisines, and traveling, especially sampling local food during my trips.
