Marietta, located in Cobb County, is a key city in the northwestern suburbs of Atlanta, about 20 miles from downtown, with convenient transportation where Highways 75 and 285 intersect.
Marietta’s history dates back to 1834, when it became the county seat of Cobb County. Today, Marietta has developed into a modern city while still preserving many historical buildings and cultural landmarks, such as old structures, historical museums, and monuments.
Cumberland Mall serves as the bustling commercial hub of the area, surrounded by various restaurants and food courts, offering residents a one-stop shopping and entertainment experience. The new state-of-the-art baseball stadium, Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team, is also located nearby.
To the east of Marietta, East Cobb is home to top-rated school districts, especially the Walton district, which is renowned statewide.
